Mudgee Is Famous For Its Fine Merino Wool, Wine, Honey And Cheese
Mudgee has so many lovely cafes and restaurants to enjoy a coffee or to dine. Please let me know if you would like me to recommend some very special dining experiences for you to enjoy that I know you are going to love. Don’t forget we offer free Kid’s Club every afternoon from 1pm to 5pm.
Did you know that Mudgee is famous for its wines – there are over 35 cellar doors in the region.
For honey lovers, look no further for beautiful local honey. You are welcome to taste before you buy at Mudgee Honey Haven
I highly recommend Mudgee Observatory for a wonderful star and planet gazing night – it is absolutely fantastic and only 15 minutes away from us.
Mudgee High Valley Cheese Co – offers beautiful cheese tastings and to buy local produce.
Hill End is yet another wonderful historic town and only about 45 minutes drive from us. History Hill is a great educational place to visit.
Animal Themed Holiday
If you would like to organise an “Animal Themed Holiday” – why not stay a few nights in Mudgee with us at Ba Mack Farmstay, then travel to Dubbo Zoo and on your way home stop at Barcoo’s Barn Farmstay, which is another wonderful farmstay experience in Bathurst.
While visiting Dubbo, our guests often love to stay at Dubbo Zoo, where you can experience private feeding of their animals. Or if you prefer, you can stay at Aspen Parks (formally Big 4) – Which is near Dubbo Zoo and has a great reputation.
