Enjoy a true country breakfast every morning – you will be provided with a generous serving of sausages, rissoles, bacon, eggs, hash browns, tomatoes and cereals, jams, juice, milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, marshmallows and our yummy freshly baked homemade bread.

Many guests find our breakfast provisions are so generous that there is more than enough for lunch as well.  Your pantry will also be filled with lots of other goodies for you to enjoy – believe me, your family are going to be very well looked after.

Both our Cottage and Train Carriage have lovely kitchen and BBQ facilities for you to use to cook up a storm.

Complimentary Afternoon Tea Every Day

I love to bake and homemade afternoon tea is such an amazing country experience – freshly made scones with whipped cream and jam, biscuits, slices and cakes are all my favourites to bake and others as well.

Every afternoon you are welcome to join me in the homestead kitchen to help me bake something yummy for you to enjoy at your leisure. I have lots of recipes to share with you.

If you have a favourite afternoon tea, please let me know and I would be very happy to make it for you.

Would You Like To Dine Out For Dinner?

I can highly recommend our local and very friendly little country pub just 5km down the road from us which is open for meals and a wonderful country pub experience most nights from 6.00pm to 8.00pm and lunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 12noon to 2pm. You will also be pleased to know that our local is also open for a cleansing ale, wine and a great country pub experience during the day as well.

Prefer to dine out a little further and visit our local attractions?

Mudgee has so many really lovely restaurants and cafes in the area as well as over 35 cellar doors in the region.  There is also the opportunity to experience cheese, honey and olive oil tastings.  Please let me know if you would like me to recommend some very special dinning experiences that I know you are going to love. 

If you love star and planet gazing, you are going to enjoy our local observatory, just 15 minutes away from us and I can guarantee a wonderful experience.

Hill End is a very historical gold mining town where you can learn how to pan for gold and visit the wonderful History Hill Museum.  Hill End is a very scenic 45 minute drive from us.

While staying with us you may also like to visit Gulgong which is another historical town where the famous Henry Lawson spent many years.  It has two wonderful museums, as well as lots of cafes and shops for you to enjoy.  Gulgong is also a very scenic 45 minute drive from us.
