Mudgee Farm Experience

A Magical Horse Riding Experience for Children & Families at Bamack Farmstay

One of the most loved experiences at Bamack Farmstay is our gentle led horse rides, specially designed for children and families to enjoy together in a safe, calm farm environment.

Led horse rides are usually available every Wednesday and Thursday (and sometimes on other days). These rides are slow, relaxed, and all about helping children feel comfortable, confident, and happy around our beautiful horses.

To ensure every child receives plenty of care and attention, we offer a maximum of two riders at a time.

Our rides take place on the farm and are suitable for both children and adults. Please note there is a 90kg weight limit per rider.

Perfect for Nervous Little Riders

If your child is unsure or a little nervous around horses, please don’t worry. Our horses are calm, patient, and well-accustomed to children. We take the time to gently introduce each rider, allowing children to build confidence at their own pace.

Parents love that this is a personal, one-on-one experience, not a rushed group activity. Every ride is tailored to suit your child’s comfort level and your family’s needs.
